When was the last time you got away?

When was the last time you got away? To hang out with your girlfriends, uninterrupted. To work on scrapbooking, stamping, beading or quilting projects you’ve dreamed of starting or finishing. To relax and pamper yourself … or go out, have fun and play.Studio

A girl’s getaway retreat is the answer and Magnolia Ridge Hideaway in charming Mount Horeb, WI is the place to go. Grab your girlfriends and spend a few days (or hours) crafting, relaxing and enjoying all there is for you here.

Rejuvinate

When was the last time you treated yourself well? While you are here, I want you to tend not only to your projects, but also your spirit. Breathe. Relax. When your desires turn from crafting to kicking back, you’ll find that Magnolia Ridge Hideaway is truly a place for creative repose.

In addition to your own private, cheery bedroom, there is also a comfortable great room & kitchen for conversation, snacking, music or movies where you can hang out in your pajamas, share a bottle of wine, tell stories and laugh together. Or enjoy the tranquility of the quiet countryside lounging on the screen porch watching the deer romping in the back yard meadow or the neighbor’s sheep and cows on the hillside.

Want a few minutes of “alone time?”
Have a soak in one of the whirlpool tubs or a backrub in the iJoy massage chair.

Want to really pamper yourself?
Manis, pedis, massages? No problem! There are many great spas just a few miles away. And, I have maps at the retreat to get you there easily. Or, you can call to arrange a house call by a local massage therapist.

When was the last time you were able to hang out with your girlfriends, sit down, and eat a great meal without a million interruptions? I know how mealtime can sometimes be more of a chore than a pleasure. While you are here, rest assured that you will be able to enjoy your meals, actually be able to sit down, relax and eat your food (while it is still hot). If you feel like cooking or bringing your own food, Magnolia Ridge Hideaway has a fully equipped kitchen and a snack kitchen in the Studio for you to enjoy (see below). If you feel like having someone else do the cooking (and dishes), we are just four miles from Mount Horeb and 10 miles to Madison, both have a variety of wonderful restaurants to dine in, carry-out, deliver, or cater your weekend retreat.

With hundreds of restaurants to choose from, the food choices in Mount Horeb & Madison are a delightful cornucopia of ethnic eateries, family-friendly restaurants and critically acclaimed fine dining.

In Magnolia Ridge Hideaway’s library, I have created a “Good Eats” Binder stocked with information and menus from many of the restaurants in the area. While here, feel free to browse through it to whet your appetite.

If you would rather wake and create, there is coffee & tea stocked in the kitchen for you to enjoy.  The Studio is also stocked with a basket of candy to give you a little boost between meals.
